“人类命运共同体”英译在东盟国家的传播与接受研究

On the dissemination and acceptance of the English translation of the current political term “Community of a Shared Future for Mankind” in ASEAN countries

作为当代国际社会交往的共同理念,“人类命运共同体”一经提出便引起东盟国家媒体的关注。本文基于自建“东盟国家媒体‘人类命运共同体’报道语料库”,依据批评话语分析理论,应用语料库话语分析方法,系统研究“人类命运共同体”英译在东盟国家的传播与接受。发现“人类命运共同体”英译在东盟国家新闻媒体的传播不均衡,主要集中在泰国、菲律宾、新加坡、马来西亚和柬埔寨5国新闻媒体,对“命运”的英译从一开始的common/shared destiny逐渐变成了common/shared future,内容上主要强调经济合作,态度上以积极报道为主。这些发现为“人类命运共同体”理念在东盟国家的传播及认同研究提供了新的视角。

As a common concept of contemporary international social interaction,the"Community of a Shared Future for Mankindn has attracted the attention of the media of ASEAN countries as soon as it was proposed.Based on the self-built u Asean Media Community of a Shared Future for Mankind Reporting Corpus" and critical discourse analysis theory,applying corpus discourse analysis methods,this article makes a systematical and in-depth research on the dissemination and acceptance of the English translation of"Community of a Shared Future for Mankindn in ASEAN countries.It is found that the English translation of "Community with a Shared Future for Mankind"spread unevenly among ASEAN countries news media,mainly reported by the news media of Thailand,the Philippines,Singapore,Malaysia,and Cambodia.The English translation of"命运"is o-riginally a common/shared destinyn and gradually becomes"common/shared future",the content mainly emphasizes economic cooperation,and the attitude is mainly positive.These findings provide a new perspective for the research on the dissemination and identification of the concept of"a community with a shared future for mankind" in ASEAN countries.
