摘要
“蒸汽朋克”是近些年青年网络亚文化现象的研究热点之一。作为一种新兴的“圈文化”,“蒸汽朋克”亚文化爱好者们在网络空间建构起想象的“共同体”,并在其中积极地实践这种圈子文化。在与实力更强的大众文化和资本势力的碰撞中,“蒸汽朋克”亚文化群体所表现出的排它性和封闭性特征注定了他们对商品社会和消费主义的“抵抗”是无力的、表面的。“蒸汽朋克”亚文化圈对符号消费和景观社会的追逐,让它像其它青年亚文化一样落入消费主义和资本主义的陷阱。我们需要用高质量的审美熏陶和文化产品提升网络青年亚文化的审美修养和价值观导向,从而让青年群体参与到构建更高层次的物质文明和精神文明社会中去。
“Steampunk” has gradually become a distinctive youth subculture phenomenon on the Internet. As a bourgeoning internet-tribe culture, “steampunk” subculture fans construct an imaginary “community” in cyberspace and actively practice this tribe culture. In the collision with the more powerful mainstream mass culture and the force of capital, “steampunk” subculture’s resistance to consumerism and capitalism dooms to be fruitless and superficial, blaming to its exclusiveness and isolationism characteristics. In the pursuit of symbolic consumption and spectacle society, the “steampunk” subculture will inevitably fall into the trap of consumerism and capitalism like other youth subcultures. Therefore, we need to pay attention to enhance the aesthetic cultivation and value orientation of the youth group by way of providing them with high-quality aesthetic edification and cultural products, so as to build a society with both higher-level material civilization and spiritual civilization.
