Relationship learning and the Development Paths of China’s Integrated Circuit Design Enterprises

摘要 随着当前产业技术和组织模式的变化,全球集成电路产业发展的价值分配格局将处于重构的重要战略机遇期,尤其是地缘政治紧张局势的持续变化和新冠疫情的爆发,更加重了全球价值链的不稳定性,本地芯片设计企业的持续成长面临严峻挑战。本文以产业分工模式的演进为背景,分析垂直一体化(IDM)和无晶圆厂(Fabless)两种经营模式下芯片设计企业的创新特性,探究芯片设计企业成长的机制,进而为我国芯片设计企业的战略发展提供思路。经研究发现,数字芯片的模块化技术特性推动了产业分工模式进一步演进;其中,产业模式演变带来企业间关系变化,将为中国芯片设计企业战略成长提供新思路。 With the change of industrial technology and organizational model,the value distribution pattern of the development of global IC industry will be faced with the important strategic opportunity period of reconstruction.In particular,the continuous change of geopolitical tension and the outbreak of COVID-19 aggravate the instability of the global value chain.The survival and growth of local IC design enterprises are facing severe challenges.Based on the evolution of industrial division,this paper analyses the innovative characteristics of IC design enterprises under the IDM model and Fabless model,explores the growth mechanism of IC design enterprises,and further explores the future strategic development path of IC design enterprises in China.This paper emphasizes the important role of the technology modularization of digital IC which promotes the further evolution of industrial division;In this background,the evolution of industrial division brings about changes in inter-firm relationships,which will provide new sights for the development of China’s IC design enterprises.
