Cultivation of Intercultural Communicative Competence in College English Teaching

本文首先阐述跨文化交际能力概念的界定,结合问卷和访谈的研究方法,以大学英语教学实际为出发点,提出了大学英语教学学生跨文化交际能力的培养策略,即更新教学理念,营造课堂文化气氛,改革英语课程教学内容,提高学生的自主学习能力,激发大学英语教师的跨文化教学意识,改变大学英语评估方式,从而真正培养出语言知识能力好又兼具跨文化交际能力的人才。最后,文章强调了在培养学生跨文化交际能力中教师的重要性,学生的跨文化能力应该与其语言能力一起发展。

Based on the definition of intercultural communicative competence,combining the research methods of questionnaire and interview,and according to the current situation of college English teaching,this paper puts forward the cultivation strategies of intercultural communicative competence in college English teaching,which are the change of college English teaching concept,creating an atmosphere of class culture,reforming English teaching content,stimulating students'autonomous learning ability,improving the consciousness of intercultural teaching of college English teachers and reforming the evaluation method of college English,so that college English teaching can truly cultivate talents with both language knowledge and intercultural communication competence.Finally,the paper emphasizes that teachers play an important role in cultivating students'intercultural communicative competence,and students'intercultural competence should be developed in coordination with their language competence.
