The carbon peak and the carbon neutralization have become the national strategy and the human needs,and also become a hot issue and an important topic in the political and academic circles.The development and utilization of the urban underground space plays an important role in the carbon peak and the carbon neutralization,which helps to achieve and solve the problem of the carbon peak and the carbon neutralization.In order to promote and guide the development and utilization of the urban underground space to achieve the goal of the carbon peak and the carbon neutralization,the paper studies the necessity,basic principles,operating mechanism and realization path of the carbon peak and the carbon neutralization in the process of the urban underground space development and utilization.
