山西省执业兽医资格考试现状

Discussion on the Status of the Qualification Examination for Licensed Veterinarians in Shanxi Province

执业兽医资格考试是评价兽医从业者是否具备执业所必需的专业知识、技能水平和职业道德的有效途径。2010—2020年,山西省共有10740人次参加了执业兽医资格考试,3010人取得了执业兽医资格,通过率为28.0%;报考人员中男性占比为67%,其中30岁以下的考生为考试的主力军,占比为74%;考生学历以大专和本科为主,主要来自兽医/水产工作机构和诊疗机构,另有19%的考生为在校学生。今后应加强兽医行业管理,发挥兽医协会作用,积极宣传兽医法律法规,提高执业兽医备案率,以期进一步完善执业兽医考试制度,提高执业兽医管理水平。

The qualification examination for licensed veterinarians is an effective tool to evaluate whether veterinary practitioners have the necessary professional knowledge,skill level and professional ethics as required.From 2010 to 2020,a total of 10740 persons participated in the examination in Shanxi Province,in which,3010 were rewarded with qualifications of licensed veterinarians,with a pass rate of 28.0%;male candidates accounted for 67%,especially those under the age of 30,accounting for 74%;most candidates were with the educational background of junior college or undergraduate,and mainly from veterinary/aquatic institutions and medical clinics,and internal students accounted for 19%.To this end,it was necessary to strengthen the management of the veterinary industry,give full play to the role of the Veterinary Association,actively publicize veterinary laws and regulations,and improve the registration rate of licensed veterinarians,so as to further improve the examination system and the management level of licensed veterinarians.
