Objective To analyze the main difficulties faced by medical rescue and medical support in the Arctic and the application status of remote consultation, and to put forward corresponding suggestions on the reasonable, reliable and efficient application of remote consultation technology in medical rescue or medical service in the Arctic. Methods Cases of remote consultation technology assisted rescue in the Arctic were summarized by literature review and open source information retrieval, and the relevant contents according to the research purpose were sorted out. Results Poor natural environment, backward infrastructure and weak rescue forces were the main difficulties faced by medical rescue in the Arctic.According to the actual situation of the arctic region, the survival rate of patients was improved, the referral and transfer rate were reduced, and a variety of remote consultation methods were realized. Conclusion With the development of the world economy and society, the demand for medical rescue in the arctic region is bound to increase day by day.Reasonably carrying out personnel training and training in advance,pre-researching polar medical equipment and technology and positioning the function of telemedicine support can provide strong support for medical security in the arctic region.
