Interpretation and Response of Bioethics in Public Health Crisis

在新型冠状病毒所造成的全球性公共危机中,生命伦理学界积极投身于抗疫工作并努力作出自己的贡献。基于当代伦理和伦理学被逐渐“淘汰”和边缘化的整体性境遇,生命伦理学所能够发挥的作用是有限的。我们应当认识到,作为一种社会文化运动的生命伦理学,并非仅仅在学术反思和规范制定上发挥作用,对其在此次公共危机中的表现和反思,可以使人们觉悟到通过积极的道德实践与广泛的社会参与,从而重建一种基于人类命运共同体意识的新的伦理生活的可能性。

In the global public crisis caused by the Novel Coronavirus, the bioethics community has been actively engaged in the antiepidemic work and has made great efforts to make its own contribution. Due to the overall situation of contemporary ethics and ethics being gradually "eliminated" and marginalized, the role of bioethics is limited. We should realize that as a kind of social and cultural movement, life ethics not only play a role on academic reflection and specification, reflections on its performance in the public crisis, can make people to realise that through positive moral practice and extensive social participation, so as to rebuild a kind of based on human fate community awareness of the possibility of new ethical life.
