结构主义视角下的室内地图符号设计

The design of indoor map symbols from the perspective of structuralism

针对室内地图表达的空间结构、人本特色以及空间行为的特殊性问题,该文研究在注重整体与要素关系的结构主义理念指导下,以室内会场场景为例构建多模块的地图内容映射概念模型,从空间、语义、时间3个维度诠释室内会场地图符号的内涵。使用“符素”表达符号的语义信息,并将其分为象征和图像两种。同时将“水平的、垂直的”要素关系扩展为设计符号时的组合、聚合、独立过程。通过完成会场符号库设计和符号内部接口设计,将符号成果集成为室内会场地图系统。用户实验结果表明其信息传递效率较好,可为室内空间的信息表达效果和符号设计效率的提升提供一种参考。

Because of the particularity of the spatial structure,humanistic features and spatial behaviors expressed by the indoor map,taking indoor convention venues as an example in this paper,a conceptual model of multi-module map content mapping was constructed based on the structuralism theory that focuses on relationship between the whole and the elements.The map symbols connotation of indoor convention venues were also interpreted from three dimensions of space,semantics and time.The semantic information of symbols was expressed by using“symbol elements”and divided into two types:symbolic and image.At the same time,the“horizontal and vertical”element relationship was extended to the process of combination,aggregation and independence when designing symbols.The convention venue symbol library and symbol internal interface were designed,and the symbol results was integrated into an indoor convention venue map system.User experimental results showed that its information transmission efficiency was good,which could be reference for the improvement of information expression effect of indoor space and the efficiency of symbol design.
