Statistical Analysis of the 875 Death Cases Due to Respiratory System Diseases in a Hospital

目的 分析某院近10年呼吸系统疾病住院患者死亡病例相关特征,为临床制定疾病救治方案提供借鉴。方法 从医院HIS系统抽取出院日期在2011年1月1日-2020年12月31日间,出院诊断为呼吸系统疾病死亡的875例患者性别、年龄、入院日期、死亡日期、疾病诊断、医疗费用等信息,并以同期收治的呼吸系统疾病出院人数为分母,应用SPSS18.0软件对总病死率、不同性别病死率、死因类型等进行回顾性统计分析。结果 10年间医院呼吸系统疾病死亡875例,病死率5.40%,其中男性病死率5.89%,女性病死率4.75%,男性病死率明显高于女性(χ^(2)=10.13,P=0.0015);各季度病死率无统计学差异(χ^(2)=5.65,P=0.1298);死亡前三位病种分别为:肺炎、慢性阻塞性肺疾病、肺部感染;死亡组基础病种数明显高于存活组,差异有统计学意义(Wilcoxon秩和检验KW=1308.91,P<0.001)。结论 高龄男性、有基础疾病的呼吸系统疾病患者病死率较高,医院应采取针对性的预防、治疗措施,降低呼吸系统疾病患者病死率,从而降低住院患者的总病死率。

Objective To analyze the relevant characteristics of the death inpatient due to respiratory diseases in a hospital in recent ten years,to provide reference for clinical treatment.Methods The death inpatient due to respiratory diseases from January 1,2011 to December 31,2020 were selected as the objects.Information was collected on patients’ sex,age,date of admission,date of death,diagnosis of disease,medical expenses,etc..The total mortality,different gender mortality and causes of death types were analyzed retrospectively using SPSS18.0 software,using the number of respiratory system diseases patients discharged from hospital in the same period as the denominator.Results There were 875 death cases due to respiratory diseases in recent ten years with a mortality of 5.4%,among 5.89% in men and 4.75% in women,the mortality in male was much higher than women(χ~2=10.13,P=0.0015);There was no significant difference in case fatality rate among different quarters(χ~2= 5.65,P =0.1298);The top three respirators’ diseases causing death were pneumonia,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,and pulmonary infection.The variety of underlying diseases in the death group is significantly higher than survival group,difference between these two groups has statistical significance(Wilcoxon rank sum test KW=1308.91,P<0.001).Conclusion The mortality rate of elderly men and patient with respiratory diseases with basic diseases is higher.Thehospitalshould take targeted prevention and treatment measures to reduce the mortality of respiratory diseases patients,thus reducing the total mortality of inpatients.
