The ICD-11 classification of infectious diseases has been reorganized and restructured according to certain principles.The classification of non-viral and unspecified central nervous system infections,acute rheumatic fever and influenza has been adjusted from the corresponding body systems chapter of ICD-10 to certain infectious or parasitic diseases in chapter 1 of ICD-11.Human prion diseases were moved from the infectious diseases chapter of ICD-10 to the neurological chapter of ICD-11.The additional codes B95 to B97 used in ICD-10 to identify infectious agents are replaced by extension codes in ICD-11.In addition,icD-11 has updated the classification of HIV diseases and simplified the requirements for international reporting of respiratory tuberculosis.The trend analysis of infectious diseases after the implementation of ICD-11 should fully consider the impact of version changes on data continuity.Icd-11 has greatly expanded the coding of infectious pathogens and antimicrobial resistance,and improved the accuracy and abundance of infectious disease information collection by adopting post-combination coding.The wide application and comprehensive data accumulation of ICD-11 will provide richer and more detailed data support for infectious disease epidemiology and clinical research.
