General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that during the War of Liberation,many Chinese communists were detained in the Refuse Pit and the Bai Mansion,withstood all kinds of torture,were unyielding and would rather die than surrender,and sacrificed their precious lives for the cause of Chinese people's Liberation,which condensed into the Hongyan Spirit.General Secretary Xi Jinping gave a series of important remarks on the Condensation of the Hongyan Spirit,on the multiple dimensions of spiritual continuity,ideological foundation,historical refining,and struggle practice to give his well-thought answers to where the Hongyan Spirit came from,how it was condensed,when it was condensed,and who condensed it.The research shows that the Hongyan Spirit was condensed from the cohesion of the Great Founding of Spirit of CPC,nurtured and nourished by Mao Zedong Thought,tempered and assembled in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation,and formed by the heroic struggle of the Chinese Communists and the Hongyan heroes.It reflects the lofty ideological realm,firm ideals and beliefs,great personality strength and noble revolutionary spirit.
