摘要
UNESCO designated sites(UDSs),including World Heritage Sites(WHSs),Biosphere Reserves(BRs)and Global Geoparks(GGPs),are a collection of focal spots deemed to be holding significant value for sustainable development within diverse environmental, social, and economic contexts.1 However, there is a clear lack of understanding and acknowledgement of UDSs’value and their specific contributions in policy-making related to development. This is especially true of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)that are part of the UN’s 2030 Agenda.
