China and the World:Gesar in Holistic Literature

作为民众生活的口头诵唱,“格萨尔”长期存在于甘、青、川和西藏等地的藏族社区,后又随文化传播逐渐流布到蒙古、裕固等族群之中。在这样的时期里,“格萨尔”属于自在文化,拥有自身的分类归属及文体特征。随着现代多民族的创建及其内部多元一体的跨文化交流,《格萨尔》逐步融进了中国文学整体之中,扩展了多民族国家的文学构成。

As an oral chanting in people’s life,Gesar has long existed in Tibetan communities in Gansu,Qinghai,Sichuan and Tibet,and then gradually spread to Mongolian,Yugur and other ethnic groups with cultural transmission.In this period,Gesar belongs to free culture,with its own classification and stylistic features.With the creation of modern multi-ethnic and its internal multi-integration of cross-cultural exchanges,Gesar has gradually integrated into the overall Chinese literature,expanding the literary composition of multi-ethnic countries.
