As one of the traditional forms of carving art,Huizhou bamboo carving,together with its brick carving,wood carving and stone carving are hailed as Four Major Carvings of Huizhou Style.Huizhou bamboo carving thrived in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.After the Qing Dynasty,with the development of craft,bamboo carving improved in content,form and tech no logy.Thanks to the application of splicing tech no logy,bamboo carving got a larger space,making the production of bamboo carving appliances more convenient and flexible.
