How to understand the power in piano performance is one of the core themes in piano performance study.Based on the theoretical and practical experience of piano performance,this article applies the relevant knowledge from physical mechanics and biomechanics,to explore a new perspective on the driving force in piano performance,particularly the role and integrated use of natural gravity and muscular force,to contribute to piano performance and pedagogy.
