The application of plant power slow switching device of in HPR1000 nuclear power plant is introduced. The switching mode of MFC2000-5 S power switching device is analyzed. The switching mode such as fast switching from the principle is introduced. Compared with the power switching system used in ordinary thermal power plants, the advantages of MFC2000-5 S power switching device are pointed out, which can be used as a reference for the subsequent power switching analysis.
