Research Review of Sea Power Problems in the Late Qing Dynasty Since the 1990s

20世纪90年代以来,学界对于晚清海权问题的研究集中于嬗变历程、制约因素、对海防成败的影响以及典型人物海权思想和实践等方面,在取得一定成果的同时依然存在论题模糊、研判标准唯西方化、研究方法单一以及对现实关切不足等缺憾。未来关于晚清海权问题的研究需要注重跨学科交叉研究方法的运用、在“四重转型”背景下重构晚清海权战略嬗变历程、以“过程—事件”分析法聚焦核心论题的探讨,并深入挖掘晚清海权战略的得失成败对我国未来海权发展的启示意义。

Since the 1990s,the academic circles'study on the problems of sea power in the late Qing Dynasty has focused on the evolution process,constraint elements,impact on the success and failure of coastal defense,and sea power thoughts and practices of typical figures.While some achievements have been made,there are still some shortcomings,such as vague topics,excessively westernized research standards,single research method and insufficient concern for the reality.In the future,the study on the problems of sea power in the late Qing Dynasty should pay attention to the application of interdisciplinary crossover research methods,reconstruct the evolution process of sea power strategy in the late Qing Dynasty in the context of“Four Transformations”,focus on the discussion of core topics with the analysis method of“process—event”,and explore deeply the enlightening significance of success and failure of sea power strategy in the late Qing Dynasty for the future development of sea power in China.
