The Character and Contradictory Features of Yu Xin

学术界关于庾信性格的研究至今未能取得共识,言人人殊,甚至聚讼不已。本文阐述庾信性格的构成及其矛盾特征,指出其性格中以下几个方面的矛盾特征,即庄重儒雅与温文懦弱、忠君爱国与贪生怕死、行为卑鄙与心灵崇高、匿怨仕敌的虚伪与心灵坦荡的真诚、豪壮正义与苟且自安、孝慈两全与孤傲不群。庾信矛盾性格的内涵,构成了其多维性与多向性的性格体系。这些矛盾性格存在着一定的内在有序组合,是对立统一的结果。在对庾信一组组矛盾对立的性格分析中,我们既看到了其性格多元性和多向性的形成过程,也看到了造成这一独特性格的内在动力和外在作用力。性格是情感的决定者,情感是性格的外现,也是文学表现的对象。我们之所以能在庾信的整个创作中,看到既有暗淡无光的一面,又有光耀千古的一面,看到彼此矛盾和令人费解的感情流向,就是因为庾信有着这样由多重矛盾性格决定的矛盾复杂的情感。

The academic research on Yu Xin's character has not yet reached a consensus.This paper expounds the composition and contradictory characteristics of Yu Xin's character.It pointed out that Yu Xin's character embodies the following contradictory characteristics,that is,solemn and refined and gentle and weak,loyalty and patriotism and fear of death,the baseness of deeds and the sublimity of heart,the hypocrisy of holding grudges and the sincerity of keeping one's heart open,bold justice and muddle along,filial piety and love and loneliness.The connotation of Yu Xin's contradictory character constitute its multidimensional and multi directional character system.There is a certain inner order combination of these contradictory characters,which is the result of the unity of opposites.In the analysis of Yu Xin's sets of contradictory personalities,we have seen the formation of diversity and pluralism,also seen the internal and external forces that contribute to this unique character.Personality is the decision maker of emotions,emotion is the external manifestation of character,emotion is the object of literature.we can see the dull side and the glorious side,and see the flow of conflicting and puzzling emotionsin in Yu Xin's entire creation,because Yu Xin has such contradictory and complex emotions determined by multiple contradictory character.
