EB病毒感染与胃癌临床病理特征的相关性

Correlation between Epstein-Barr virus infection and clinicopathological features of gastric cancer

目的 探讨EB病毒(EBV)感染与胃癌临床病理特征的相关性。方法 收集2018年6月至2019年5月安徽省肿瘤医院根治性手术切除的胃癌石蜡包埋样本127例,采用全自动原位杂交方法检测EBV编码的小RNA(EBER)的表达,分析EBER表达与临床病理特征的相关性。结果 EBER阳性13例(10.2%)。不同性别、年龄、肿块直径、肿块部位、TNM分期、淋巴结转移数之间EBER阳性率差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05),不同lauren分型EBER表达差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=6.290,P<0.05),其中混合性阳性率最高,伴EBER表达的肿瘤间质常伴多量淋巴细胞浸润。结论 EBER原位杂交检测有助于对胃癌EBV感染的筛查,通过增加对EBV相关性胃癌(EBVaGC)临床病理特征的认识,从而为临床对该类肿瘤的诊疗提供更多的病理学依据。

Objective To investigate the correlation of the Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)infection with the clinicopathological characteristics of gastric carcinoma. Methods 127 cases of gastric cancer paraffinembedded samples were collected from June 2018 to May 2019 in Anhui Cancer Hospital after radical surgery.Fully automated in situ hybridization was used to detect the expression of EBV-encoded small RNA(EBER),and the correlations of the EBER expression with clinicopathological characteristics were analyzed. Results13 cases(10.2%)were positive for EBER. There was no significant difference in EBER positive rate among different gender,age,tumor diameter,tumor location,TNM stage,and lymph node metastasis number(P>0.05). There was a statistically significant difference in the expression of EBER among different Lauren types(χ^(2)=6.290,P<0.05),among which the mixed positive rate was the highest,and the tumor stroma with EBER expression had a lot of lymphocyte infiltration. Conclusion EBER in situ hybridization detection is beneficial to screening EBV infection in gastric cancer. By improving the understanding of the clinicopathological characteristics of EBV-associated gastric cancer(EBVaGC),more pathological evidence can be provided for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of this type of tumor.
