“被渲染的焦虑”:社交媒体使用与女性生育风险感知 被引量:8

"Rendered Anxiety":Research on Social Media Usage and Female Childbirth Risk Perception

摘要 “三孩”生育政策实施以来,生育成为社交媒体上的火热议题,媒介使用影响女性受众的生育风险感知。本文通过深度访谈和网络文本分析洞察女性在社交媒体使用中的生育风险感知。研究发现,大众传媒报道“三孩”生育政策强化了女性对生育政策的认知,而去中心化、互动式交流的社交媒体却强化了女性的生育风险感知,进而唤起女性对生育的“再思考”。个体会综合考虑个人利益、长远发展等因素,再对其生育行为作出理性选择。相比传统媒体单向的传播模式,以“人人平等”为内在逻辑的互联网,为女性的自我价值追求与群体交流互动提供了平台和空间,进而通过强化性别意识影响女性的生育意愿。 Since the implementation of the"third-child"policy,childbirth has become a hot topic on social media.Media usage has an impact on the audience’s perception of fertility risk.In this article in-depth interviews and online text analysis are conducted to understand women’s childbirth risk perception.The study finds that although mass media coverage of the third-child policy affects the public’s understanding of issues related to the policy,decentralized and interactive social media further strengthen women’s perception of childbirth risk,and hence cause women to"rethink"about giving birth.Individuals make rational choices about their reproductive behavior on the basis of personal interests and long-term development.Compared with the one-way mode of communication in the traditional media era,the Internet with"equality for everyone"as its internal logic provides a platform and space for women’s self-value pursuit and group interaction,and then influences women’s reproductive intention by strengthening gender awareness.
