Swansea criteria score in acute fatty liver of pregnancy

To the Editor:Acute fatty liver of pregnancy(AFLP)is an uncommon but potentially fatal disease unique to pregnancy that typically occurs in the third trimester and is one of the leading causes of maternal mortality in critically ill patients.^([1])The Swansea diagnostic criteria have been widely used in the diagnosis of AFLP worldwide since their proposal.The Swansea criteria include clinical symptoms and laboratory tests,imaging,and pathological examination results.
