《魏氏乐谱》的本曲与《新定九宫大成南北词宫谱》同名的曲牌共计79个,其中,至少11曲在旋律上存在重合,即《点绛唇》《太常引》《恋绣衾》《贺圣朝》《柳梢青》《浪淘沙》《朝中措》《临江仙》《感皇恩》《小重山》《狮子序》等。这些同名曲以承继南曲者为最多。魏氏乐与中国本土传承的古谱存在关联,与中国本土曲牌具有历史承继性。

There are 79 tunes in Master Wei’s Music Scores and the New Anthology of Northern and Southern Songs which share the same name,and of which eleven at least have overlapping melodies,namely,Dian Jiang Chun 点绛唇 (Crimson Lips),Taichang Yin 太常引 (Taichang’s Song),Lian Xiu Qin 恋绣衾 (Embroidered Love Quilt),He Sheng Chao 贺圣朝 (Ode to the Court),Liu Shao Qing 柳梢青 (Willow Branches are Turning Green),Lang Tao Sha 浪淘沙,Chao Zhong Cuo 朝中措,Lin Jiang Xian 临江仙 (Immortals on the Other Side of the River),Gan Huang En 感皇恩 (Thanking the Emperor),Xiao Chong Shan 小重山,Shizi Xu 狮子序 (Lion’s Preface),etc.Most of the tunes sharing the same name are derived from the Southern repertoire.Master Wei’s Music Scores is related to the ancient scores inherited from China and thus represents a historical inheritance of local Chinese music.
