This paper analyzes the disease types of the highway water damage in Shanxi Province,proposes the survey and detection methods of water damage, and puts forward a disaster damage evaluation system based on relevant experience and specifications, which can provide technical reference for the statistics of water damage in Shanxi Province in the future.
