Seize the Opportunity,Meet Challenges,and Look to the Future——Review of the Forum on“Opportunities and Challenges of International Chinese Education in New Era”

新形势下,国际中文教育的发展机遇与挑战并存。2021年10月23日,华东师范大学主办了“新时期国际中文教育的机遇与挑战”高端论坛,来自全国各地50多位专家学者展开了深入讨论。与会专家认为,国际中文教育的困境涵盖事业困境、学科困境和学院困境,中国和国际中文教育的未来是突破困境的最大保障;国际中文教育转型发展路径包括处理好事业发展、学科发展与学院发展的关系,促进新时期教育教学模式转型;国际中文教育标准的建设与发展须完善系列标准建设,推动标准建设的国际化与本土化;国际中文教师的培养与发展应该对接各国师资实际需求,分清不同阶段培养任务,提升本土教师“造血”功能,建设国际中文教师共同体。

Opportunities and challenges coexist in the development of international Chinese language education under the new situation.On October 23,2021,East China Normal University hosted the forum on“Opportunities and Challenges of International Chinese Education in New Era”.More than 50 experts and scholars from around the country had in-depth discussions.Experts believed that the dilemma of international Chinese language education includes career dilemma,discipline dilemma,college dilemma,and that the future of China and international Chinese language education is the biggest guarantee to break through the dilemma.The transformational development path of international Chinese language education includes dealing well with the relationship between career development,discipline development,and college development to promote the transformation of education and teaching mode in new era.The construction and development of international Chinese language education standards require the improvement of serial standards construction to promote the internationalization and localization of standard construction.The training and development of international Chinese teachers should meet the actual needs of teachers in various countries,distinguish the training tasks at different stages,improve the“hematopoietic”function of local teachers,and build the community of international Chinese teachers.
