Importance of and Approaches to Building High-Quality National Parks

高质量建设国家公园是优化我国自然保护地体系的重要举措,是生态文明建设的重要实践,是“十四五”林业草原保护发展的重要任务。当前,我国在国家公园建设实践中应当正确认识中央政府和地方政府、国家公园内部和外部、人和自然之间以及保护和发展的关系;充分借鉴国外国家公园建设的有益经验,以创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享理念推进我国国家公园高质量建设。

Building high-quality national parks is a critical approach to optimizing China’s natural reserve system,a vital practice for developing ecological civilization,and an important task in the 14th Five-Year Plan for forestry and grassland protection and development.During the construction process,China should gain a correct understanding of the relationships between central and local governments,between the external and internal parts of national parks,between mankind and nature,and between protection and development.We should also draw on useful international experiences and apply a new philosophy of innovative,coordinated,green,open,and shared development.
