Writing Perspective of the Ethnography of the Drum Music of the Cross-border Ethnic Groups in Yunnan

The writing of the ethnography of the drum music of the cross-border ethnic groups in Yunnan must deal with several interactive relationships, including inside and outside, emic and etic, and close range perception and remote thinking. Besides, common expression and upgrading of knowledge should accompany the observation of the differentiation of ethnic cultures. This ethnography of music, which is based on fieldwork and participative observation, can clearly interpret the academic context of the cultural symbol which is conveyed by music.
