金融科技对产业结构升级的影响研究——以成渝地区2011—2019年经验数据为例

Study on the Impact of Fintech on Industrial Structure Upgrading:Empirical Data from Chengdu-Chongqing Region from 2011 to 2019

将金融科技纳入产业结构升级的研究框架,从理论上探讨金融科技对产业结构升级的影响和作用机制,并基于成渝地区的相关数据,应用面板固定效应模型和中介效应模型,对理论假设进行实证检验。结果表明:金融科技显著推动了成渝地区产业结构升级,即使在考虑了产业结构升级有较强的路径依赖和消除内生性问题后,前者还是对后者产生显著性影响。其次,金融科技可通过资本积累、技术创新和收入差距三个效应,进而影响产业结构升级,其中技术创新的中介效应最强。进一步研究还发现金融科技的不同维度会对成渝地区产业结构升级产生差异性影响。因此,应推进金融科技的发展,提升金融服务实体经济的能力,为成渝地区产业结构升级注入新动力。

Fintech is incorporated into the research framework of industrial structure upgrading,and the impact and mechanism of fintech on industrial structure upgrading are discussed theoretically.Based on the relevant data of Chengdu-Chongqing region,panel fixed effect model and intermediary effect model are used to empirically test the theoretical hypotheses.The results show that fintech significantly promotes the upgrading of industrial structure in Chengdu-Chongqing region,and the former has a significant effect on the latter even after the strong path dependence of industrial structure upgrading is taken into account and the endogenous problems are eliminated.In addition,fintech exerts influence on industrial structure upgrading through capital accumulation,technological innovation and income gap,among which technological innovation has the strongest mediating effect.Further research also finds that different dimensions of fintech have different effects on the industrial structure upgrading of Chengdu-Chongqing region.Therefore,the development of fintech should be promoted,and the ability of the real economy of financial services should be improved to bring new impetus into the industrial structure upgrading in Chengdu-Chongqing region.
