The Influence,Causes and Countermeasures of College Students'Group Polarization Affected by the"Information Cocoon"

“信息茧房”加剧了大学生网络群体极化,使得大学生在同质化信息、意见领袖以及“沉默螺旋”效应的影响下,极易激发非理性情绪和网络暴力行为,并受到错误思潮的左右,从而造成对高校思想政治教育的消解。为此,高校要强化思想政治教育“把关人”的引导作用、提升大学生媒介素养和信息甄别能力、加强校园文化价值引领力,以消除“信息茧房”导致大学生群体极化对思想政治教育的负面影响。

The "information cocoon" intensifies the polarization of college students’ network groups so that under the influence of homogenized information, opinion leaders and the "silent spiral" effect, college students are prone to irrationality, network violence and wrong ideological trend, which might lead to the dissolution of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. Hence colleges and universities are supposed to strengthen the guidance of ideological and political education of the "gatekeeper" and promote college students’ media literacy and information discrimination ability, strengthen the leading force of campus culture value so as to eliminate the negative effect of college students’ group polarization caused by "information cocoon" with regards to the ideological and political education.
