China is a large cultural country with a long history.Chinese traditional culture,with its unique charm,attracts people to inherit and develop excellent traditional culture under the continuous development.There are various ideologies in Chinese traditional culture.Chinese traditional color is one of the elements of Chinese traditional culture.In the traditional color with Chinese characteristics,it also provides design inspiration for Chinese dress designers,gives greater play to the design,breaks the limitations of traditional dress design,and makes dress design more cultural.Especially in the costume design of animation characters,the traditional colors with national characteristics are used to enrich the characters and present more vivid animation works.Based on the development of traditional culture,the analysis is carried out around the traditional Chinese color and costume design of cartoon characters.
