Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of urine formed element and urine culture in patients with urinary tract infection. Methods:A total of 100 patients with urinary tract infection treated in People's Hospital of Macheng City from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected. All patients were diagnosed by urine formed element and urine culture, and the clinical application value of urine formed element and urine culture for diagnosis of urinary tract infection was compared. Results:The positive rate and diagnostic accuracy of urine formed element test were higher than those of urine culture, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Sixty-five cases of pathogenic bacteria were isolated in urine culture.Flora distribution:Escherichia coli 41.54%,Klebsiella pneumoniae 9.23%,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other gram-positive cocci 7.69%,Enterococcus faecium and Enterococcus faecalis 6.15%,Staphylococcus saprophyticus 3.07%,Proteus mirabilis,Enterobacter cloacae,Enterobacter aerogenes,Serratia liquefaciens,Acinetobacter baumannii,Enterobacter agglomerans, other gram-negative bacilli,Pseudomonas fluorescens,Staphylococcus epidermidis,Streptococcus viridis,Staphylococcus aureus and fungi 1.54%.Conclusion:The diagnostic accuracy of urine formed element test is higher than that of urine culture in the diagnosis of urinary tract infection, and it deserves clinical promotion and application.
