数字服务贸易壁垒对制造业产出服务化水平的影响——基于中国上市公司微观数据的经验研究

How do Digital Service Trade Barriers Affect the Servitization?——Evidence from China’s Listed Manufacturing Firms

在数字服务已深刻融入制造业的情形下,数字服务贸易壁垒水平对制造业产出服务化水平的影响变得不容忽视。基于2014—2019年中国上市公司的微观数据,考察数字服务贸易壁垒对制造业产出服务化水平的影响,结果发现:数字服务贸易壁垒会通过抑制企业研发创新、削弱数字服务对低技能劳动要素的替代效应和增加交易成本的方式抑制产出服务化水平;数字服务贸易壁垒对处于非成长期和数字基础设施建设不完善地区的企业产出服务化水平抑制作用更强;数字服务贸易壁垒对制造业企业产出服务化水平的影响具有地区异质性。

As digital services have been deeply integrated into the production and operation of manufacturing industry, the impact of the level of digital service trade barriers on the level of servitization has become impossible to ignore. Based on the micro data of Chinese listed companies in 2014 and 2019, this paper investigates the impact of digital service trade barriers on the servicification of manufacturing output. The results show that: first, digital service trade barrier can restrain output sertization by inhibiting enterprises’ R&D innovation, weakening the substitution effect of digital services on low-skilled labor factors, and increasing transaction costs, and the results are stable. Secondly, digital service trade barrier has a stronger restraining effect on the output servitization in non-growth stage and imperfect digital infrastructure construction. Thirdly, the influence of digital service trade barrier on the output serification level of manufacturing enterprises has regional heterogeneity.
