American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA) united with other organizations and institutions presents an updated report of the Practice Guidelines for Management of Difficult Airway. It replaces the “Practice Guidelines for Management of the Difficult Airway: A Report by the American Society of Anesthesiologists Task Force on Management of the Difficult Airway” published by ASA in 2013. This article gives a brief introduction and discussion of the new ASA guidelines and a detailed interpretation of the updated parts of the new ASA guidelines.
