摘要
本文从话语建构视角分析韩国主流媒体《中央日报》和《韩民族日报》疫情期间涉华报道的话语类型和话语互动,探析韩国媒体建构的中国形象及其背后的逻辑。研究发现,韩国媒体塑造的中国形象与西方媒体建构的极端“丑化”的中国有较大的区别。韩国媒体从国家利益和民族主义语境出发,通过各类话语的互动,塑造了“强大、强势和落后”共存的中国形象。这与中国致力于建设的“负责任大国”形象还有一定的差距。鉴于此,本文从话语建构视角提出三点中国国家形象提升路径。
This study analyzes the discourse types and discursive interaction of the news coverage of China in South Korean mainstream media Korea JoongAng Daily and Hankyoreh during the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspective of discourse construction to explore the image of China constructed by the South Korean media and the logic behind it.The study finds that the image of China portrayed by the South Korean media differs significantly from the extremely“smeared”China constructed by the Western media.By integrating various discursive interaction,the South Korean media creates an image of China as a“major country,both mighty and backward”based on South Koreas national interests and a nationalist context.This is still somewhat far from Chinas image as a“responsible power”that it is committed to building.In view of this,this paper proposes three ways to improve Chinas image from the perspective of discourse construction.
