Preliminary report of the excavation of the Western-Han-Dynasty cemetery at Yangjiawan, Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province

2019年10月,为配合基础设施建设,西安市文物保护考古研究院在西安市长安区郭杜街道杨家湾村发掘古墓葬3座,均为竖穴墓道土洞墓,出土随葬品78件(组),器类组合主要有陶鼎、盒、钫、缶和灶等。墓葬排列有序,保存较完好,随葬品较丰富,其中M3出土一枚“杨嘉”玉印,推测此处应为西汉早中期杨氏家族墓地。

In October 2019,to cooperate with infrastructure construction,the Xi’an Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics Conservation and Archaeology excavated three ancient tombs at Yangjiawan village,Guodu Street,Chang’an District,Xi’an City.All of the tombs have a vertical shaft pit.78 items(groups)of burial goods were unearthed,including pottery ding tripods,boxes,fang vessels,fou cooking vessels and zao cooking stoves.These tombs are orderly aligned and are well preserved.Amongst the abundant burial goods being found,one jade seal has the inscribed characters of yang jia.According to this object,it can be surmised that the cemetery belonged to the Yang family of the early to middle Western Han Dynasty.
