湖北荆州朱家草场汉墓M29发掘简报

Preliminary report of the excavation of the Han-Dynasty cemetery at Zhujia Caochang,Jingzhou City,Hubei Province

2019年11月至2020年5月,荆州博物馆在湖北省荆州市朱家草场墓地发掘墓葬36座,其中M29是一座竖穴土坑单室砖墓,并用空心砖封门。类似形制的墓葬在荆州地区发现较少,因此其价值尤为重要。通过与周边地区同类墓葬的对比研究,可以为当时社会物质文化和精神文化的交流与传播提供实物资料。

From November 2019 to May 2020,the Jingzhou Museum excavated 36 tombs at the Zhujia Caochang cemetery in Jingzhou City,Hubei Province.Among them,the tomb no.M29 was a bricked,singleroomed tomb with a vertical shaft pit.The tomb was sealed by hollow bricks.Tombs of such a structure are rarely found in the Jingzhou region.Hence,this tomb is particularly valuable.Through a comparison with tombs with similar structures in other regions,it might provide material evidence to understand the spread and communication of social and material culture of the time.
