摘要
薛富兴是卡尔松环境美学在国内的主要翻译者与研究者,代表了国内卡尔松环境美学研究的较高水平。他指出了卡尔松环境美学存在的漏洞与不合理之处,并对其进行一系列的修正,从而推动了环境美学理论的进一步发展,显示了中国学者对西方环境美学的理解深度以及理论建构的参与能力。薛富兴以自然审美的恰当性为参照,反思了中国古代自然审美中的比德与借景抒情传统。他在融合中西美学思想的基础上,在自然审美的特性、方法论、层次、批评等领域提出独到见解,建构起较为系统的自然审美理论,呈现了国内环境美学研究的较高水准。他始终重视环境伦理学在自然审美中的作用,并将其引入自然审美理论的建构中,拓展了自然审美的视域与深度。
As the leading scholar in researching and introducing Allen Carlson’s environmental aesthetics theory,Xue Fuxing is the pacesetter of research on Carlson’s theory in China.He has pointed out and fixed the defects in the theory,promoting the further development of environmental aesthetics,displaying the Chinese scholar’s in-depth understanding of western environmental aesthetics,and proving his strong ability to participate in theoretical construction.By referring to the appropriateness of aesthetics of nature,Xue has reflected on the tradition of comparing views to virtues and expressing feelings upon views in ancient Chinese aesthetic appreciation of nature.On the basis of integrating Chinese and Western aesthetics,he has his own unique insight into issues of aesthetics of nature such as its characteristics,methodology,hierarchy and criticism,establishes a fairly systematic theory of aesthetics of nature,and sets a high standard of Chinese environmental aesthetics studies.He has always attached great importance to the role that environmental ethics has played in aesthetics of nature,introducing the former into the theoretical construction of the latter,and thus broadening the horizon of aesthetics of nature.
