全面抗战时期,毛泽东领导中国共产党积极推动世界反法西斯统一战线的建立,并在此基础上开展了对日统战的相关工作。在确立宽待俘虏的政治工作原则后,中国共产党人积极开展对日军俘虏的思想政治教育工作,并大力支持在华日人反战组织的工作。伴随着实践的深入,越来越多的日军战俘开始觉醒,选择了放下武器,接受思想教育,根除了其脑海中根深蒂固的军国主义观念,并走上前线,与中国人民一同浴血奋战,实现了从“鬼子兵”到反战斗士的伟大转变。
