长三角区域语言服务竞争力指数评价与分析

Evaluating and Analyzing the Competitiveness Index of Language Service Industry in the Yangtze River Delta

本研究采集长三角区域语言服务业海量数据,采用六维度语言服务竞争力指数评价体系,对长三角一市三省的语言服务竞争力进行评价与分析。研究发现,语言服务综合竞争力最强的是江苏省,其次为上海市、浙江省和安徽省。六个二级指标评价结果如下:(一)江苏省的语言服务产业环境竞争力领先,其次是浙江、上海和安徽;(二)语言服务行业竞争力方面,全区语言服务市场总规模不断扩大,市场需求旺盛,业态分布多元化,其中,江苏和上海的行业竞争力远超浙江和安徽;(三)语言服务基础设施方面,上海在语言服务规划、语言资源库建设、语言服务企业管理水平方面领先于其他三省;(四)上海的语言技术服务竞争力强于江苏、安徽和浙江;(五)全区语言服务企业总体数量和产值呈现逐年递增的态势,上海的语言服务企业竞争力最强;(六)语言服务人才竞争力方面,江苏与浙江高于上海和安徽。最后,本文总结研究结论,从六个方面提出建议,以期为长三角区域乃至全国语言服务研究和行业发展提供启示。

This study collects a huge amount of data on the language service(LS)industry in the Yangtze River Delta and adopts a six-dimensional evaluation system of LS competitiveness index to evaluate the language service competitiveness of one city and three provinces in the Yangtze River Delta.It is found in the study that Jiangsu Province is the most competitive overall in the LS industry,followed by Shanghai,Zhejiang and Anhui.The evaluation of six second-level indicators yields the following findings:(1)in terms of LS industry environment,Jiangsu Province is the highest in index score,followed by Zhejiang,Shanghai and Anhui;(2)as to LS industry competitiveness,the Yangtze River Delta LS market has been expanding,with strong market demand and diversified industry distribution.Jiangsu and Shanghai are far more competitive than Zhejiang and Anhui;(3)Shanghai has the most competitive LS infrastructure in LS planning,language resource database construction,and language service company management among all cities and provinces in the region;(4)Shanghai ranks the first in language technology services,followed by Jiangsu,Anhui and Zhejiang;(5)Shanghai has the most competitive language service providers,with an annual growth trend in the quantity and output value of LSPs in the whole region;(6)Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces are higher in the competitive index scores of LS talents than Shanghai and Anhui.Finally,this study draws conclusions and raises suggestions from six aspects in the hope to provide some implications for the LS studies and industry development in the Yangtze River Delta and all China.
