The contemporary Chinese Marxist research on value philosophy has always been oriented to the practice of reform and opening up,which has profoundly expressed the practical logic of reform and opening up with the theoretical logic of value philosophy.Contemporary Chinese value philosophy,first of all,explores the concept of value,reveals its essence,explores the relationship between truth and value,deepens our understanding of practical standards,and provides a philosophical basis for telling the right from the wrong in China’s reform and opening up;Secondly,it discusses the evaluation criteria,explores the rationality of the evaluation,and discusses the“three favorables”criteria,which provides a theoretical basis for telling the good from the bad in China’s reform and opening up;Thirdly,it discusses the changes and conflicts of ideas of values,builds socialist core values,and answers the question of“what is socialism and how to build socialism”from the value level,so as to provide the most fundamental conceptual basis and theoretical support for promoting the reform and opening up and the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.It is imperative for us to understand the development of contemporary Chinese value philosophy on the basis of reform and opening up,which can not only enable us to have an accurate and complete understanding of the contemporary Chinese value philosophy,but also a deeper comprehension of the academic pursuit and practical significance of contemporary Chinese Marxist research.
