从符号认知到符号崇拜:职业本科建设的符号障碍与重构 被引量:11

摘要 发展职业本科是当前完善中国现代职业教育体系的关键环节,然而,公众受职业教育贬义符号的泛滥与固化的影响强烈拒斥职业教育,职业本科建设面临着严重的符号障碍。符号认知是人类的基本认知方式之一,具有自身的优点,也有其劣势;进一步而言,符号认知具有与实际事物相疏离的根本特征,在消费与传媒时代又走向了符号崇拜,符号意义在解释过程中极易失真,导致畸形的符号消费,并形成了制约认知的符号障碍。受历史传统、匹配的工作类型、传媒助推等因素的影响,职业教育被塑造成了消极的符号,严重阻碍职业本科建设的进展。为了重构职业教育的符号,政府应努力营造对职业教育友好的传媒环境,清理歧视职业教育的地方性政策与制度;职业院校应着力提升教育质量,重视重塑自身的社会形象。 Developing vocational university is the key link in constructing modern vocational education system in China.However,due to the proliferation and solidification of derogatory symbols in vocational education,students and the general public strongly reject vocational education,and vocational university construction faces severe symbol obstacles.Symbolic cognition is one of the basic cognitive modes of human beings,which has the basic characteristics of being detached from the actual things.In the age of consumption and media,it has moved towards symbol worship,and the meaning of symbols is easily distorted in the process of interpretation,resulting in abnormal symbol consumption.Influenced by historical tradition,matched job types,media hype and other factors,vocational education has been shaped into a negative symbol,which seriously hinders the progress of vocational university construction.In order to reconstruct the symbols of vocational education,the government should make efforts to create a friendly media environment for vocational education,and clean up the local policies and systems that discriminate against vocational education.Vocational colleges should focus on improving the quality of education and reshaping their social image.
