Guan Zhong’s Image and Its Value in Lv’s Spring and Autumn Annals

管仲是吕不韦心目中的良相楷模,《吕氏春秋》有13则与管仲相关的历史故事,书写了管仲深谋远虑的智相、以民为本的仁相、知人善任的贤相、治国理政的能相形象,带有一定的传奇性、典范性与赞誉性。分析发现,《吕氏春秋》推崇管仲,与吕不韦、管仲等的政治思想、个人经历、撰书初衷相似有关。《吕氏春秋》的管仲形象书写,对后世产生了较大影响,在管仲接受史、管学研究史上具有承上启下的重要地位。

Guan Zhong was a good model that Lv Buwei looked up to.There are 13 historical stories related to Guan Zhong in Lv’s Spring and Autumn Annals,which describe Guan Zhong’s image of foresight,humanness,benevolence,as well as his ability in governing the country,with certain legendary,exemplary and laudable characteristics.The analysis shows that the praise of Guan Zhong in Lv’s Spring and Autumn Annals is related to the similarity of Lv Buwei's and Guan Zhong's political thought,personal experience and original intention in compiling the book.Lv’s Spring and Autumn Annals exerted a great influence on Guan Zhong’s writing and played an important role in the history of Guan Zhong’s acceptance and management study.
