世界期刊知识体系的兴起:社会主义平台期刊的前景

Emerging World Journal Knowledge Systems:The Prospect of the Socialist Platform Journal

学术期刊的发展仅有350多年的历史,在历经几个发展阶段后,期刊总量达到两万多种。随着期刊和论文数量激增,世界范围内已形成了期刊知识体系。本文力图概述世界期刊知识体系的发展历程——从自然哲学到自然科学、再到将科学作为全球性产业,始终表现出“南-北”不平等和西方认识论占据主导地位。论文从内部和外部批判的角度对西方认识论进行解构,以强调世界期刊体系、平台资本主义和新自由主义知识生产的兴起。进而提出开放性的知识生产和平台期刊,可以作为知识社会主义基础建设的选择方案。

The academic journal is a little over 350 years old.With an estimated 20,000 academic journals after several historical phases,the world has entered into a journal knowledge system with the rapid proliferation of journals and papers.This article is an attempt to provide a sketch of the development of the world journal knowledge system from its birth in natural philosophy and science to science as a global enterprise that still exhibits‘North-South’inequalities and western epistemological dominance.The paper briefly entertains the deconstruction of western epistemology in terms of both an internal and external critique,to emphasize the emergence of the world journal system,platform capitalism and neoliberal knowledge production.The paper concludes by offering an alternative in an account of open knowledge production and the platform journal as the basis of knowledge socialism.
