Founded in November 1979,the Chinese Society of Rare Earths (hereinafter referred to as CSRE) is a social organization approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China,which is one of the national societies of China Association for Science and Technology.In 2011,CSRE was assessed as an AAAA-level social group by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
