大数据时代译者能力透析及其构建

Analysis and Construction of Translators’Competence in the Era of Big Data

新技术的发展将人类带入一个全新的大数据时代。大数据时代暴涨的半结构化、非结构化,甚至是异构的海量数据引发翻译行业巨变,译者存在的意义正面临被消融的可能,译者能力随之被重新透析和阐释。本文基于大数据对翻译活动的深刻影响,从思维能力维度、翻译技术能力维度和翻译项目管理能力维度对大数据时代译者能力进行透析,指出构建大数据观、大技术观、大平台观和大翻译观是译者从容应对大数据时代冲击,获得可持续发展的根本途径。

The semi-structured,unstructured and heterogeneous structured data has brought a great change to translation in the era of big data with massive data sets.This paper analyzes translators’competence,including thinking ability,translation technologies and competence of translation project management in this specific socio-historical context.It states that translators should possess the view of big data,of big technology,of big platform and of big translation in order to maintain the sustainable development in this era.
