School feature is the core competitive strategy of universities.New local undergraduate universities start late and have a weak foundation.Therefore,it is an inevitable choice to find its own position and take the road of characteristic development.This research analyzes the development evolution and development path of the school features of Chongqing University of Education and provides reference for the cultivation of school features of new local undergraduate universities.
