Taking Oracle 19 C as an example, this paper expounds that in case of database software and hardware failure, especially after the abnormal downtime and restart of the host computer where the database is located, the key components such as Oracle database instance and monitoring can be automatically restarted under non-human intervention through the Oracle Restart function, which makes it possible for the database to continuously and reliably provide external services.
