With the urban renewal of the bund district in full swing,a number of landmark projects have been built to surprise and move the district and its people.Taking Dongjidu Greenland Bund Centre Project developed at high density in riverside core area of the South Bund as the starting point,this paper expounds the project planning,architectural design,quality control and practice in protective repair of historical buildings,providing useful reference for the planning and design,intensive development,continuation of place spirit and restoration of urban vitality in the core area.
