Zuoyun County has superior geographical conditions and is suitable for the development of mutton sheep industry.In re‐cent years,Zuoyun County has worked hard on sheep breeding varieties,forage,feeding methods,marketing models and other indus‐trial chains to achieve the normal operation of the complete industrial chain of mutton sheep breeding,feed supply,healthy breeding,deep processing and so on.This paper introduces the development status of mutton sheep industry in Zuoyun County,analyzes the existing problems,and puts forward the future development plan combined with the advantages and disadvantages.
