In the construction of municipal drainage pipeline engineering, it is necessary to use the closed water test of drainage pipelines to detect the construction effect of drainage pipelines. This paper first studies the causes for the leakage in municipal drainage pipelines, analyzes the relevant content of closed water test, and then summarizes the commonly used plugging methods in closed water test.Finally, combined with engineering examples, the closed water test cases of drainage pipelines are analyzed to help technical personnel to use effective methods to carry out closed water test and solve the quality problems of municipal drainage pipelines.
